Meeting: Launch of Forum’s Transitional Justice Programme in the Diaspora – 3 Feb 2010

Transitional Justice is the development, analysis and practical application of a wide variety of strategies for confronting the legacy of past human rights abuses in order to create a more just and democratic future.

During 2009, the Forum held consultative outreach meetings with people of all backgrounds throughout Zimbabwe to listen to the wishes of communities on the desired transitional justice model for the country. In 2010, we are expanding this programme to Zimbabweans in the Diaspora. Our partners, the Zimbabwe Exiles Forum, will hold similar consultative meetings in South Africa and the region.

Join us as we prepare to take the Forum’s ‘Taking Transitional Justics to the People’ programme in the Diaspora during 2010.
