The Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum (the Forum), following a report, visited Mutoko East, Ward 15 to meet with victims of post-election violence on 16 August 2018.  The Forum met with two adult victims who reported that they had been victimized for allegedly voting for MDC Alliance.  The victims reported that they were assaulted on 11 August 2018 at around 20:00 hours.  One woman reported that she was raped by the assailants.  The two also reported that their child aged 9 months was assaulted and later died a day later.  The violation was reported at Makosa Police Station.  The police opened dockets for assault (CR 28– 8-18), rape (RRB 3297086) and murder (CR 29-8-18).  No one had been arrested by the time of the visit.
A post-mortem was scheduled for the 23rd of August 2018 at Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare.
