Time to Ratify Conventions?
The first anniversary of Zimbabwe’s Govornment of National Unity presents an opportunity for the new Government to turn the corner of state sponsored politically motivated violence and demonstrate its commitment to protecting and promoting human rights.  This meeitng is co-sponsored by Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum, the World Sudent Christian Federation, The Zimbabwe Advocacy Office, the Zimbabwe Europe Network and Conectas calls on the Government to ratify both the Convention Against Torture and the Convention to Protect All Persons form Enforced Disappearance.
