The Catholic Commission Commission for Justice and Peace’s Harare Chapter together with the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum join the world in commemorating the International Day of Peace. In this statement, we reflect on the challenges of violence facing Zimbabwe, the demands of peace among the rising hostilities as well as the call of the United Nations Secretary General to strengthen the ideals of peace. In commemoration of this day, CCJP – Harare and the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum will hold a procession in Epworth from Overspill to Domboramwari.
