A report compiled by the Zimbabwe Human Rights Non-Governmental Organisations Forum that discusses the increasingly troubled political situation in Zambia with increases in violent clashes between supporters of the ruling party, ZANU (PF) and the main opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change. The report describes the events leading up to and the protest march that occurred on April 1st, 2000 in Harare and provides multiple eye-witness accounts to the events and the associated violence.
